Damage Management Policy

DAMAGE MANAGEMENT POLICY

Transparency. Responsibility. Confidence at Every Step.

At STARTTODRIVE LIMITED, we believe that the process of obtaining or arranging assistance with a European driving licence should be clear, structured and transparent.

This Damage Management Policy explains how we manage service-related issues, misunderstandings, delays, complaints and situations that may affect the Client’s experience.

Our goal is to ensure that Clients understand the scope of our services, their own responsibilities, the role of third-party providers and the steps available if difficulties arise.

1. Scope of Services and Process Transparency

Before cooperation begins, the Client may receive information concerning:

  • the general legal and administrative requirements applicable in the selected country;
  • the expected stages of the relevant process;
  • documentation that may be required;
  • estimated processing or coordination timelines;
  • potential variations depending on the country, region, driving school, authority or individual circumstances;
  • known third-party costs where this information is available.

STARTTODRIVE LIMITED provides consultation, organisational support and coordination services only.

We support lawful procedures involving licensed driving schools, authorised service providers and competent public authorities.

We do not provide unlawful, unofficial or guaranteed methods of obtaining a driving licence.

2. Client Responsibility

To allow us to assess the Client’s situation and provide appropriate assistance, the Client is responsible for:

  • providing truthful, complete and accurate information;
  • providing valid and genuine documents;
  • informing us of any relevant change in personal circumstances;
  • complying with the legal requirements of the relevant country;
  • complying with requirements imposed by driving schools, examination centres and public authorities;
  • attending required lessons, appointments, medical examinations and tests;
  • responding to reasonable requests for information or documentation;
  • reviewing information provided to them and raising questions where clarification is needed.

Failure to provide complete or correct information may result in:

  • delays;
  • additional costs;
  • inability to continue the process;
  • changes to the recommended procedure;
  • rejection by an independent service provider or public authority.

STARTTODRIVE LIMITED cannot be responsible for consequences caused by inaccurate, incomplete, false or outdated information supplied by the Client.

3. Training and Examination Coordination

Where STARTTODRIVE LIMITED coordinates services involving partner driving schools or other providers, we may:

  • assist the Client in identifying an appropriate provider;
  • assist with registration and communication;
  • explain the general stages of theoretical and practical training;
  • assist with organisational matters;
  • provide information regarding examinations and preparation requirements;
  • coordinate communication where reasonably necessary.

Driving schools, instructors, examination centres and public authorities operate independently.

STARTTODRIVE LIMITED does not control:

  • examination results;
  • decisions concerning readiness for an examination;
  • appointment availability;
  • lesson schedules;
  • internal driving school policies;
  • decisions concerning the issue, exchange or recognition of a driving licence.

Final decisions concerning driving licence eligibility and issuance are made by the competent authorities.

4. Assessment of Client Circumstances

Before or during the provision of services, we may review information relevant to the Client’s situation, including:

  • country of residence;
  • residency or administrative requirements;
  • nationality or citizenship where relevant;
  • previous driving experience;
  • existing driving licence information;
  • requested licence category;
  • document availability;
  • language or training requirements;
  • administrative requirements of the selected country.

Any assessment provided by STARTTODRIVE LIMITED is based on information available to us at the relevant time.

Such assessment does not constitute a guarantee that a public authority, driving school or examination body will reach the same conclusion.

Where potential obstacles are identified, we may explain available options or alternative lawful procedures where appropriate.

5. Fees and Third-Party Costs

STARTTODRIVE LIMITED may charge a fee for consultation, coordination and related support services.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, our service fee does not include third-party charges such as:

  • driving school tuition;
  • instructor fees;
  • government fees;
  • examination fees;
  • medical examination costs;
  • translations;
  • notarisation;
  • certification or legalisation;
  • document delivery;
  • other external service costs.

Third-party fees may be payable directly to the relevant provider or institution.

Where third-party costs are communicated in advance, they should generally be treated as estimates unless expressly confirmed by the relevant provider.

6. Delays and Changes Outside Our Control

Some elements of the process depend on independent organisations and may therefore be outside the control of STARTTODRIVE LIMITED.

This may include:

  • changes in legislation;
  • changes in administrative procedures;
  • appointment shortages;
  • examination scheduling;
  • delays by public authorities;
  • driving school availability;
  • requests for additional documents;
  • regional procedural differences;
  • technical or administrative issues affecting third parties.

Where reasonably possible, we will inform the Client of material changes once we become aware of them.

Estimated timelines are not guarantees unless expressly confirmed in writing.

If the Client believes that there has been a problem with the service provided by STARTTODRIVE LIMITED, we encourage them to contact us as soon as possible.

Examples may include:

  • unclear information;
  • communication difficulties;
  • concerns regarding service delivery;
  • disagreement regarding the scope of work;
  • delays requiring clarification;
  • concerns relating to third-party coordination;
  • billing or payment questions.

To allow us to investigate effectively, the Client should provide:

  • their name;
  • contact details;
  • relevant order or service information;
  • a description of the issue;
  • supporting documents or correspondence where relevant;
  • the outcome they are seeking.

Complaints can be sent to:

support@start2driveltd.com

We aim to review complaints fairly and within a reasonable period.

8. Resolution Process

Where a service-related issue is raised, STARTTODRIVE LIMITED may:

  • review correspondence and service records;
  • clarify the agreed scope of service;
  • request additional information from the Client;
  • contact a relevant partner or service provider where appropriate;
  • explain the cause of a delay or issue;
  • propose reasonable corrective action where appropriate.

Depending on the circumstances, possible resolutions may include:

  • clarification or additional consultation;
  • correction of inaccurate information;
  • re-coordination with a service provider;
  • continuation of the service under revised arrangements;
  • partial or full refund where required by law or otherwise considered appropriate;
  • another reasonable solution agreed with the Client.

Any refund entitlement is subject to our Terms and Conditions and applicable consumer law.

9. Third-Party Responsibility

STARTTODRIVE LIMITED may cooperate with independent driving schools and other service providers.

Where an issue arises solely from the actions or omissions of an independent third party, we may assist the Client in understanding the situation or communicating with the relevant provider.

However, STARTTODRIVE LIMITED cannot guarantee the outcome of a complaint made against an independent third party and is not responsible for matters that are legally or operationally under that provider’s control.

This may include:

  • changes to lesson schedules;
  • instructor availability;
  • examination arrangements;
  • internal school procedures;
  • third-party pricing;
  • authority decisions.

10. No Guarantee of Outcome

STARTTODRIVE LIMITED provides assistance and coordination but does not guarantee:

  • successful completion of any examination;
  • approval of any application;
  • issuance of a driving licence;
  • completion within a specific timeframe;
  • acceptance of documents by an authority;
  • availability of specific driving schools or instructors.

The outcome of each case depends on individual circumstances, applicable law, third-party requirements and decisions made by competent authorities.

11. Legal and Ethical Compliance

STARTTODRIVE LIMITED supports only lawful procedures.

We do not provide or facilitate:

  • forged or falsified documents;
  • false declarations;
  • unlawful licence issuance;
  • circumvention of mandatory legal requirements;
  • guaranteed examination results;
  • guaranteed government approval;
  • unlawful remote issuance of driving licences.

Where we reasonably believe that a Client is attempting to use our services unlawfully, we may suspend or terminate the service.

12. Personal Data and Confidentiality

Information received from the Client is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Personal information may be shared where necessary with relevant parties involved in providing the requested service, including:

  • partner driving schools;
  • professional service providers;
  • payment providers;
  • relevant public authorities;
  • translation or document service providers.
