STARTTODRIVE LIMITED is a private limited company registered in England and Wales.

2. Nature of Our Services

STARTTODRIVE LIMITED provides informational, consultation, organisational and coordination services in connection with driving-related services, including assistance relating to obtaining, exchanging or otherwise dealing with driving licences where such services are legally available.

Depending on the individual service requested, our assistance may include:

  • providing general information regarding applicable requirements;
  • reviewing information provided by the Client;
  • explaining possible procedures and available options;
  • assisting with the preparation and organisation of documentation;
  • coordinating communication with licensed driving schools and other service providers;
  • providing organisational support in relation to training, appointments and examinations;
  • referring Clients to appropriate third-party service providers.

The exact scope of services applicable to a particular Client may be specified separately in correspondence, an order confirmation, invoice, service description or other written communication.

3. Important Limitations of Our Role

STARTTODRIVE LIMITED is not a government authority and does not issue driving licences.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, STARTTODRIVE LIMITED:

  • is not itself a driving school;
  • does not conduct official driving examinations;
  • does not issue, approve, renew or exchange driving licences;
  • does not control decisions made by licensing authorities, examination bodies or other public authorities;
  • does not guarantee that any application will be approved;
  • does not guarantee that a Client will pass a theoretical or practical examination;
  • does not guarantee any particular processing time where the process depends on third parties or authorities;
  • does not provide legal representation before courts or public authorities.

Any final decision concerning the issue, exchange, recognition, renewal or validity of a driving licence is made by the competent authority in accordance with applicable law.

4. Lawful Use of Services

Our services are intended only to support lawful procedures.

STARTTODRIVE LIMITED does not provide or facilitate:

  • unlawful issuance of driving licences;
  • forged or falsified documents;
  • circumvention of mandatory examinations or legal requirements;
  • false declarations to authorities;
  • guaranteed approvals;
  • unlawful accelerated procedures.

The Client agrees not to use our services for any fraudulent, misleading or unlawful purpose.

If we reasonably suspect fraud, forged documentation, false information or unlawful activity, we may suspend or terminate the service and, where required by law, cooperate with the competent authorities.

5. Client Responsibilities

The Client is responsible for:

  • providing complete, truthful and accurate information;
  • providing genuine and valid documentation;
  • informing us of any material changes to their circumstances;
  • complying with the laws and requirements applicable to the relevant procedure;
  • attending required appointments, lessons, medical examinations and tests;
  • preparing for and attending required theory or practical examinations;
  • responding within a reasonable time to requests for information or documentation;
  • checking information provided by third-party institutions where necessary;
  • paying applicable fees.

The Client must not knowingly provide false, forged, altered or misleading information.

STARTTODRIVE LIMITED is not responsible for additional costs, delays, rejection or inability to continue a process resulting from inaccurate, incomplete, outdated or misleading information supplied by the Client.

6. Our Responsibilities

STARTTODRIVE LIMITED will use reasonable care and skill in providing the services agreed with the Client.

We will aim to:

  • provide information relevant to the requested service;
  • explain the general process and required steps;
  • coordinate with relevant partners where applicable;
  • communicate material updates available to us;
  • handle Client information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Information concerning laws, administrative practices, processing times and third-party requirements may change without notice.

Where changes occur after information has been provided, we will not be responsible for such changes, but where reasonably practicable we may inform the Client once we become aware of them.

7. Third-Party Driving Schools and Service Providers

STARTTODRIVE LIMITED may coordinate services with independent third parties, including:

  • licensed driving schools;
  • instructors;
  • medical providers;
  • translation providers;
  • document certification providers;
  • examination centres;
  • payment processors;
  • other service providers relevant to the Client's request.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, these providers operate independently from STARTTODRIVE LIMITED.

A third-party provider may have its own:

  • terms and conditions;
  • pricing;
  • cancellation rules;
  • availability;
  • eligibility criteria;
  • timetable;
  • internal procedures.

The Client may be required to enter into a separate agreement directly with a third party.

STARTTODRIVE LIMITED does not control decisions made independently by such third parties.

8. Government and Regulatory Authorities

Government departments, licensing bodies and examination authorities operate independently of STARTTODRIVE LIMITED.

We cannot control:

  • processing times;
  • appointment availability;
  • examination dates;
  • administrative delays;
  • requests for additional documentation;
  • changes in procedure;
  • approval or refusal decisions.

Any timeframe communicated by us is an estimate unless expressly stated to be guaranteed in writing.

9. Prices and Service Fees

The Client will be informed of the applicable STARTTODRIVE LIMITED service fee before purchasing the service.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, our service fee covers only the services provided by STARTTODRIVE LIMITED.

It may not include third-party costs such as:

  • driving school tuition;
  • instructor fees;
  • government or licensing authority fees;
  • theoretical or practical examination fees;
  • medical examinations;
  • translations;
  • notarisation;
  • legalisation or certification;
  • document delivery;
  • bank charges;
  • other third-party costs.

Where possible, additional costs known to us may be explained to the Client before they are incurred.

10. Payment

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, payment for STARTTODRIVE LIMITED services is due before the relevant work begins.

Payments must be made using an accepted payment method.

The Client is responsible for ensuring that payment information is accurate and that sufficient funds are available.

Where a payment is reversed, charged back or otherwise cancelled without lawful justification after services have been provided, STARTTODRIVE LIMITED reserves the right to recover sums properly due.

11. Formation of the Contract

Submitting an enquiry does not by itself create a binding service contract.

A contract may be formed when:

  • the Client accepts an offer or service proposal from us;
  • payment is made for an agreed service;
  • we provide written confirmation that the service has been accepted; or
  • another clearly agreed method of acceptance occurs.

The service description, invoice, correspondence and these Terms may together form part of the agreement between STARTTODRIVE LIMITED and the Client.

12. Consumer Cancellation Rights

12.1 UK Consumers

If you are a consumer and enter into a contract with us remotely, for example online, by email, telephone or another distance communication method, you may have a statutory right to cancel the service contract within 14 days.

For service contracts, the cancellation period generally begins when the contract is concluded.

You do not need to provide a reason for exercising a statutory cancellation right.

To cancel, you must communicate a clear decision to us before the cancellation period expires.

You may contact us at:

support@start2driveltd.com

You may use a cancellation form where one is provided, but you are not required to use a particular format if your intention to cancel is clear.

13. Starting Services During the 14-Day Cancellation Period

You may ask us to begin providing the service before the statutory cancellation period has expired.

Where applicable, we will ask you to make an express request for early commencement.

If you cancel after requesting that the service begins during the cancellation period, you may be required to pay for the proportion of services already supplied before cancellation.

If the service has been fully performed during the cancellation period, your statutory cancellation right may cease where the requirements of applicable consumer law have been satisfied, including your prior express request and acknowledgement where required.

A suitable early commencement confirmation may state:

“I expressly request STARTTODRIVE LIMITED to begin providing the agreed services before the end of the statutory cancellation period. I understand that if the service is fully performed, I may lose my statutory right to cancel.”

14. Refunds Following Statutory Cancellation

Where you validly exercise a statutory right to cancel and are entitled to reimbursement, STARTTODRIVE LIMITED will provide the refund within the period required by applicable law.

Where applicable, reimbursement will normally be made using the same payment method used for the original transaction unless another method is agreed.

Where the Client validly requested early commencement of services and work was performed before cancellation, any amount lawfully payable for services already provided may be deducted or charged in accordance with applicable consumer law.

15. Cancellation After the Statutory Cancellation Period

Where no statutory cancellation right applies, or the applicable cancellation period has expired, cancellation and refund requests will be considered in accordance with:

  • the stage of service performance;
  • work already completed;
  • costs already incurred;
  • commitments made to third-party providers;
  • the circumstances of the cancellation;
  • applicable consumer law.

A refund is not automatically available simply because the Client decides not to continue after substantial work has already been performed.

However, nothing in these Terms affects any mandatory statutory rights to which the Client is entitled.

16. Client Failure to Cooperate

If we cannot continue providing the service because the Client:

  • fails to provide requested documents;
  • repeatedly fails to respond;
  • provides inaccurate or false information;
  • fails to attend required appointments;
  • refuses to comply with mandatory requirements;
  • otherwise prevents performance of the agreed service,

we may suspend or terminate our involvement.

Any refund will depend on the work already performed, costs incurred and applicable law.

17. Service Changes

In some circumstances, the procedure originally discussed with the Client may need to change because of:

  • changes in law;
  • authority requirements;
  • eligibility issues;
  • changes in the Client's circumstances;
  • availability of third-party providers;
  • changes in administrative procedures.

Where a material change affects the agreed service, we will seek to explain the change to the Client where reasonably practicable.

18. No Guarantee of Outcome

The purchase of our services does not guarantee:

  • issuance of a driving licence;
  • successful exchange or renewal;
  • admission to a particular examination;
  • passing an examination;
  • acceptance of documentation;
  • completion by a particular date.

Outcomes depend on factors that may include the Client's eligibility, conduct, examination performance, documentation and decisions of independent authorities or service providers.

19. Liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so.

In particular, nothing in these Terms affects mandatory consumer rights or excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded or restricted.

Subject to applicable law, STARTTODRIVE LIMITED will not be responsible for losses caused solely by:

  • decisions or actions of independent government authorities;
  • examination results;
  • delays attributable to third-party providers;
  • inaccurate information supplied by the Client;
  • the Client's failure to comply with legal or procedural requirements;
  • events outside our reasonable control.

Where STARTTODRIVE LIMITED is legally responsible for loss, liability will be assessed in accordance with applicable law and the circumstances of the particular case.

We do not exclude liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

20. Force Majeure and Events Outside Our Control

We will not be responsible for delays or failure to perform caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control.

These may include:

  • war or armed conflict;
  • civil unrest;
  • strikes;
  • epidemics or public health emergencies;
  • natural disasters;
  • severe weather;
  • government restrictions;
  • closure or disruption of public authorities;
  • transport disruption;
  • telecommunications or infrastructure failures;
  • major IT or cyber incidents affecting third-party infrastructure.

Where possible, we will attempt to resume performance once the relevant disruption ends.

21. Personal Data and Privacy

Personal information is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Where necessary to provide the requested service, information may be shared with appropriate third parties such as:

  • partner driving schools;
  • professional service providers;
  • payment providers;
  • relevant public authorities;
  • document and translation providers.

  • misuse the website;
  • attempt unauthorised access to the website or associated systems;
  • introduce malicious code;
  • interfere with website functionality;
  • use the website for unlawful or fraudulent purposes;
  • copy or exploit website content unlawfully.

We may restrict access where reasonably necessary to protect the website, users or our business.

Please include sufficient information for us to identify the relevant service and understand your concern.

We will aim to investigate and respond within a reasonable period.

25. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time to reflect:

  • changes in legislation;
  • regulatory requirements;
  • changes to our services;
  • changes to our website;
  • operational changes.

The version applicable to a transaction will generally be the version in effect when the relevant contract was entered into, unless a change is required by law or otherwise agreed.

The latest version will be published on:

www.start2driveltd.com

26. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms and any contract between you and STARTTODRIVE LIMITED are governed by the laws of England and Wales, subject to any mandatory consumer protection laws that apply to you.

If you are a consumer residing in another country, you may also benefit from mandatory rights and protections available under the laws applicable to you which cannot lawfully be excluded by these Terms.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to deprive a consumer of mandatory protections granted by applicable law.

Any dispute will be subject to the jurisdiction determined under applicable law.

27. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, unlawful or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect to the extent permitted by law.

28. No Waiver

If STARTTODRIVE LIMITED does not immediately enforce a provision of these Terms, this does not mean that we waive our right to enforce it later.

29. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with any applicable service description, order confirmation, invoice and policies expressly incorporated into the agreement, form the agreement between STARTTODRIVE LIMITED and the Client relating to the relevant service.

Nothing in this section excludes liability for fraudulent misrepresentation.

30. Acceptance of Terms

By purchasing, requesting or using STARTTODRIVE LIMITED services, you confirm that you have read and understood these Terms and agree to be bound by them.
